Experience the true Barreado de Morretes, here at the hostel

The famous typical dish of Paraná, following the traditional Azorean recipe and served in the charming and renowned Concept Design Hostel, voted the best hostel in Brazil by Travel and Tourism Magazine.

The creation of the dish is attributed to the Portuguese who went to the coast of Paraná in the 18th century.

The ingredients of the dish are: lean beef, onion, garlic, bacon, black pepper, bay leaf, and cumin. Everything is mixed with water in a large clay pot and left to cook for hours until it melts. And following the traditional recipe, it is served only with white manioc flour and cooked ground banana.

At Concept, the guest is greeted with a shot of the traditional Morretes cachaça, aged in oak barrels and to accompany his Barreado, the delicious lemon caipirinha. The hostel also offers a selection of local craft beers, wines, and other drinks.

Keep an eye on the monthly schedule on Facebook and Instagram; events take place once or twice a month. And you have to make a reservation!
